Why.

As part of the expansion of our New Zealand Animal directory, a new category has been added for dog friendly cafes and restaurants.

Many people with dogs will be travelling and looking for places to eat without leaving their beloved family members having to stay home, or even left in their vehicles.

Initially, a new category has been created in our directory - CAFE - DOG FRIENDLY (WATER BOWL)

Add your cafe/restaurant.

To add your business to our directory, please have the manager or owner log in, and you can update your existing business if your email address is registered with us, or you can submit a new business entity if it doesnt already exist in our directory.

Dog friendly cafes and restaurants are a new category for us, and we are improving our systems. We welcome any suggestions.

When your business has been accepted, the owner/manager can log in and send us updates/changes you want for your business. The description, and Covid19 status can be instantly updated, but other changes may take a day or so to update.

You can edit the description of your business to include more detail about your pet-friendly status. Does this need a seperate section to your business entry?

Guide Dogs in cafe's/Restaurants.

Blind Low Vision NZ Guide Dogs are legally permitted to access all public spaces and buildings. All guide dogs are given their own ID card and identification medallion so that any organisation can verify their right to enter.
